Boliviana de Aviación

Following last years demise of Lloyd Aereo Boliviano, the Bolivian government is planning to launch Boliviana de Aviacion as the country's new state airline.

The launch is expected to take place within the next couple of months using two leased 737-300s with a further three of the same type to be leased next year.

It is believed that the airline will operate only domestic routes to begin with but international services are likely to be planned in the future.

It looks like they are recruiting for various positions on their website (including Captains and FO's) with a cut-off date of December 17th. Might make for a Merry Christmas for Bolivian pilots who are presently out of work or working outside of Bolivia and looking to go back home again.
