$5000 for 3 years

I hear, people at DAE ask you $5000 to bond you for 3 years to the company even if you have ATR type rating....

Hello,
and what about the fokker? I heard talking only about the ATR.
They are hiring qualified copilots for the fokker fleet?
News are appreciated.

Thanks

JAR FCL is accepted by the Antilles Aviation Authority. But after that, your JAA license will expire as the 'TRE's' with DAE are only certified to do checks according to local regulations. At least, that was the case 2 years ago. Can't imagine that they would have changed that.

If you're already type rated, DON'T accept that ridiculous bond. If you could manage to get a job there without that ridiculous bond, then it might be fun for a year or so. Enjoy the island life en then steer away from that company...

Payment sucks, mentality & philosophy sucks, and so on....
