At least in Chile would be kind of hard.. market is full (FULL) of retired guys, plus take in mind that flying helos here is quite complex due to the mountanious terrain and extreme weather (common task here is to fly Off-Shore sorties in Cape Horn...), and Piston Helos are non-existant, so pretty much there's no room for begginers, and im almost sure that kind of the same thing all over south america.
Really bad for us who wanted to make career in the Rotary wing market over here, and don't have any foreing passport, but i went for the fixed wing and by far you can have more chances to build a good career.
Good luck!
