Hi everybody,

Does anyone has informations about "Wings of peace" located somewhere in southamerica (Brazil?). Cant find out much about them from their website but im supposed to call a captain of theirs in Brazil for a brief interview... Any info will be appreciated.

I am very aware of WOP. They claim affiliation with Wings of Hope which is a legit organization. WOP also claims affiliation with Tropic Air of Belize. Neither has any affiliation with WOP.

SCAM - STAY AWAY!!!

Crack up is telling the truth. This company is a total scam! They advertise for 'low time missionary pilots, training required'. The only things 'missionary' about this company is the position they put unsuspecting, low time pilots in! You have to pay them stupid amounts of money, so that you can sit right seat in a C208B, in a SINGLE CREW OPERATION. Plus you get bumped by passengers if the flight is full! And then they tell you once you are finished your "training", they will set you up with a job as PIC on the C208 "somewhere in Central or South America". Ya right, good luck getting passed the line of local pilots waiting for these same jobs.
Be warned people, stay away from this SCAM.

There is a thread elsewhere on pprune about WoP, when you send them a cv, you get automated responses back.
So, on first contact you send a query or CV and get the following message:

Unfortunately they probably get some gullible punters because a lot of us low hours fATPLs dont like to discuss potential jobs with others for fear of losing out. Oh well!

It did sound a bit weird but im glad that I asked in here for informations...
