New Iberia hub

Iberia is planning to move its Miami hub to Mexico. All this because the situation in the United States.
This will be a good idea from Iberia, because now they have a new code-share agreement with Mexicana.
What do you know about this.
I read the rumor on a Mexican newspaper.

Wow, it is starting to happen. Got a link by chance?

Nice to see that Iberia is thinking outside of the "box." Hope it will have some positive effects. For example, why does it cost more to fly between Mexico City and Central America than Houston and Central America???

I don't know any web page about this because I read that from a Mexican news paper. Three days later I read another article in the same news paper which said that the hub was going to be in Cancún.

I would imagine that Cancun would be geographically a better location for their hub, given that most of the Miami hub flights go to Central America (and one to Cancun). Hmmmmm, a Cancun stop over good be AT LEAST as enjoyable as a Miami one!
