Porter Incident at CYTZ

Good Morning All: Does anyone have more information on this incident such as weather related or anything else? Registration : C-GLQC Operator : PORTER AIRLINES INC. Manufacturer : DE HAVILLAND Operator Type: COMMERCIAL Model : DHC-8-400 CARs Info: 705 - AIRLINER Injuries: Fatal : 0 Serious : 0 Minor : 0 None : 37 Unknown : 0 Occurrence Summary : A12O0109: Porter Airlines flight 122 (DHC-8-400, registration C-GLQC) was landing on runway 08 at Toronto Billy Bishop Airport (CYTZ). The aircraft landed long, and during the landing roll proceeded approximately 100 feet beyond the runway end, onto the paved runway end safety area. There were no injuries, and the aircraft was not damaged. |
Pretty scary, they must have been very close to going in the drink.
Porter has a no fault go around policy in place and crews are required to go around if the wheels aren't on the ground by the 1000' markers at YTZ. I'm surprised they went that far. The Q400 can stop very quickly, looks like the A/C was only about half full too, they couldn't have been very heavy? How long did these guys land? I can't find the CADOR either, where did you get this?
