Ppl In Canada
Anyone interested in completing a PPL in Western Canada I can offer advice and point you in the right direction.
PM me for details. |
On a related note: anyone interested in buying the Brooklyn Bridge, please PM me for details. :p
Seriously, if anyone needs advice on choosing a flying school, etc., I would suggest that they post their enquiries on this public forum, rather than seeking private advice from someone who has a definite vested interest in steering them in a certain direction. Or (easier) obtain Chris Hobb's little book, Learning to Fly in Canada, from the public library, and review these websites: (a) COPA's "Learn to Fly" section; and (b) ATAC's "Learn to Fly" section (when it asks for "authentication information", just hit the "cancel" button). |
MLS-12D,
I couldnīt agree more! :E Cheers! Dave (got a copy of that book too, its great!) |
PPL in Canada
Thanks for pointing this important information out guys and it would be wise for any potential student to shop around. I am a licenced Instructor but I am not employed by any schools or clubs at this present time.
I am here to offer advice on what schools to stay away from as well as pointing students in the right direction on the better schools in the Calgary area as I believe that I have a good knowledge on the pros and cons of the various options. I am not out to make a dollar or indeed log any hours as I am employed in a non aviation field. Anyway, my advice is still available to those who may be interested in flying in this part of the world. |
