Hey there you're looking for issue #2/2004 of the Transport Canada Aviation Safety Letter.
Editor is Paul Marquis and he can be reached at [email protected] or www.tc.gc.ca/ASL-SAN phone # 613 990-1289 fax # 613 991-4280 Hope that helps! |
The investigation is likely still ongoing. From the Transport Canada's Aviation Safety Letter 2/2004:
The investigation to date has revealed that the last six waypoints of the last leg had been entered with west longitude coordinates, instead of the correct east longitude coordinates. From The Investigator’s Desk: Navigational Error — Convair 580 |
DUD,I contacted the investigator in charge, the report has been out a few weeks,(I didn't receive a copy from TSB as yet)...
Mr Tony Pleasants(AII,in charge) has it available in word perfect form from [ [email protected]] Cheers....:ok: |
Thanks for your help :ok:
In the event, a C-141 was sent out to intercept it and the incident ended without physical harm. |
