TSB Reports

Hi there,

I am looking for the report into the 2003 incident where a Convair 340 got lost enroute New Zealand on a ferry flight. I have been referred to the TSB by our own agency but cant find any reports newer than 2002.

03-005 Convair 340, C-GKFT, ferry flight Canada to NZ lost enroute from Pago Pago, 200 nm east Gisborne

how can i get a hold of this report on the internet?

thanks in advance!

The investigation is likely still ongoing. From the Transport Canada's Aviation Safety Letter 2/2004:
The investigation to date has revealed that the last six waypoints of the last leg had been entered with west longitude coordinates, instead of the correct east longitude coordinates.

Thanks for your help
In the event, a C-141 was sent out to intercept it and the incident ended without physical harm.
