Bipolar 2 diagnosis
I have recently been diagnosed with bi-polar 2. Subsequently I have lost my ATPL and am accordingly undergoing treatment including medication.
Obviously I am concerned about my medical re- instatement.
Does anyone know what I can expect going forward?

You'll likely get a quicker answer by asking here: AvCanada Health & Fitness
There is far more foot traffic, especially for your type of question.
Do you work in a union shop? (ALPA, ACPA?) If you do, they have amazing resources.
Also, I'm not sure if your CAME would have pointed you to TP 13312, but sometimes that provides answers. Just remember that it's a guide for the doctors, so it can make for some pretty harsh reading the first time through.
Best of luck, and I hope you get your medical back without too much trouble.

Start with:
TC AME Handbook - Psychiatry Section
If employed by a major, your company medical department and union may be able to help. Alternatively you may find out that reinstatement won't happen.
