The Crossing

A very moving song for those who have held command and those who do as it captures the very essence of flight!

Nice one!
He does, saw him bombing around Comox BC this summer in a Spit! Brother Chris bombs around the globe in the ISS. Not sure if he is a "Pop Star"

Thanks for posting.

This is a lovely song.

Dave Hadfield sounds like a modern day Sir Francis Chitchester, or maybe even EKG.

Check out his web site.

Sorry I didn't see this. Thanks for the kind remarks. The video of my song was an unexpected surprise.

Yes, I had the tasking of flying Mike Potter's out to BC and back last summer. It was a magnificent, all-consuming, magical, occasionally-overwhelming experience that consummated my entire flying career.

Chris also got a checkout in the Spitfire in the Fall. This was very generous of the owner, Mike Potter.

If anyone is interested in the song, The Crossing, it's only available from me, via my website. I have deliberately avoided the normal streaming sites. The album is called Climbin' Away -- 14 original songs about flying. Chris wrote 2 of them. www.hadfield.ca
