The Bar at the HOtel burned down a few years ago and they set up a pre-fab kitchen for meals . They also made quite a few upgrades to the remaining rooms . They actually have clean rooms the last time I stayed there .
The Pickle Lake Hotel is now open again to the public and so there is no excuse to put off that fishing trip.
They even have a LCBO , Liquor Control Board Ontario where you can stock up on essential après fishing refreshments . Not to be confused with the Land Claims Beneficiary Office in Iqaluit or Inuvik . Although the usual clientele look very similar.
