DHC used a simple wheeled cart (dolly) for takeoffs of float-equipped Beavers from it
True, until one day when an empty trolley wiped out Phil Garret's car!
Thereafter they put hydraulic brakes on the cart, activated by a spring loaded lever that released when the Beaver lifted off.
