Try LINVIC

Have a look at LINVIC in Lindsay (CNF4). They have 150s and a couple of recent 172Rs. Pretty good food at the airport. Nearby airports have instrument approaches and controlled airspace if you want to exercise; some interesting little strips for x-c destinations.

E-mail me if you would like more info. Just to keep the mod happy, I have no connection with the outfit.

you could try
BRAMPTON CNC3 Club
BRANTFORD CYFD Club
BURLINGTON Airpark CZBA Spectrum Airways
OSHAWA CYOO Canadian flight academy

All do 172 Rentals at around $Cdn100 +tax per hour wet.

Here are a few websites that may help:

Burlington: www.spectrumairways.com/
Brampton: www.bramfly.com/
Hamilton: www.peninsulair.com/
Kitchener: www.wwflightcentre.com/
London: www.aeroacademy.on.ca/

I have flow at Burlington, Hamilton and Waterloo; all are good. I can't speak for Brampton or London but they are probably good too. I would stay away from Buttonville in eastern Toronto because its prices are higher than average.

Hi there NM

I highly recommend CFA at Oshawa - cheap rates, friendly folk, and a pretty good airport - towered, with an ILS but not too busy.

They have 172s for C$95 I think, plus a well equipped C-172RG for C$115.

Website is www.beapilot.ca - mail me if you want more info. I was there a few weeks back.

Cheers

Goat -

Does Oshawa still offer a J-3 Cub for dual and solo rentals?

Thanks.

The cub hasn't been around in a couple of years; and there are no immediate plans to bring it back; nice newer 172 though (GPS / RNAV).

Talking Oshawa

Thanks Goat. That's bad news.

I've nothing against the trusty old 172, but of course I can fly that just about anywhere ... I hope that DFC will try to stand out from the crowd by bringing back the Cub.
