Flying into USA with helicopter

Hi, New to forum.

Looking for some info on a flight from montreal to philadelphia with a helicopter.

the basic info i have, i need a DTOPS tag to enter us and a eAPIS flight plan for flight in the us, my question is how does it work once in the us, from my knowledge is that i must stop at the first airport with customs, to then go through customs before continuing on my flight (this being plattsburgh airport) from then on how do the frequencies work, i know here in canada in the montreal region is 126.7 and then once in the radar of airport switching frequencies to the designated airport. is that so in the US aswell? From what i have read 122.75 is the equivalent of 126.7 but otherwise you are always in contact with and airport of a frequency with someone? any help appreciated!
