Smile Next Step to Aircraft Dispatcher certificate for an international student in Canada

Hi everyone!

I am an international student in Ontario following a 2 year Aviation Operations diploma course in Seneca College. I intend to complete and complete my Radio License and Aircraft Dispatcher License exams through TC within this 2 years. I have several questions:

1) I am going to come across a 3 month internship in my course from coming September till beginning of Jan which I can work if I find a suitable Aviation Internship or it would go as a holiday. I really wish to work, but I could hardly find a company or organization in Aviation sector that recruits a college student as interns for 3 months. Could anyone guide me a better way to find such an intern program or is there anything worth I could do within this 3 month period towards my career in aviation.

2) Is being an International student going to restrict my ability to find a suitable aircraft dispatcher job in Canada once I complete this diploma., especially to follow the specific Air Operator training and Cockpit familiarization? Is there anything I could do or anyway I could strengthen my skills to increase to increase my chances?

3) I am aware that I will have to go through a security check and I will have to be in Canada for 5 years to make sure I pass that easily. But then I have been here only for an year. I do not understand what I could after completion of this course if I will be able to find a suitable job in aviation career that would give me experience maybe till I have to wait to complete 5 years history of security check or is there chances of passing it even now?

4) I also wish to know what kind of jobs will suit me or help me move up the hierarchy quickly from such an Aviation Operations Diploma course.

Thank you for your time and help
