Australians in Canada

Hi All

Are there many Aussies flying around in Canada? I'm currently considering my career options and thought of trying Canada for a few years for a different experience.

Currently flying a DHC 8-100, what sort of types do most guys end up on? How hard is it to get a work visa with family in tow?

For those of you over there did you get a job before moving or do most employers want you to be johnny on the spot? (Like Australia)

Working in Canada

Hey mate,
I'm currently living and flying in Canada on a working holiday visa. Spent six months studying my Canadian ATPL and sending out CVs before I left. Had a couple of interviews before leaving Aus and managed to land a handful of solid offers within a couple of weeks of arriving. It's been a fantastic 12 months so far. PM me if you want some more details.

Cheers!
