Just curious
I been wanting to get a helicopter license for a long time now. But from what I understand the US isn't very helpful with financial aid for that.
Can anyone tell me what the cost to get a Helicopter license in Canada is, and if there is any financial help to due so?

Helicopter licenses are free up here, in fact they will pay you to get one as long as you are a Canadian citizen and get accepted into the RCAF as a helicopter pilot.
Sarcasm aside, there are so many variables to your question. PPL(H) only, commercial licence, instrument rating, single or multi engine?
What financial aid are you refering to? Low interest career development loans?
My honest suggestion is that if you cannot save up or currently afford to pay for the licence up front until you are in a position to earn money as a helicopter pilot, then look for alternative job. This is presuming that you want to fly professionally? Even when you have a commercial licence, you will be stuck doing the low end (low paid) jobs in the back of nowhere for quite a while and being burdened with a large loan will not make life any easier.
Sorry if this is not what you want to hear but my viewpoint
