Westjet Encore, their new regional airline, operating de Havilland/Bombardier Dash-8 Q-400s, is hiring. Go to WestJet, WestJet Vacations | Airline Tickets, Seat Sales, Flight Deals, click on "Great jobs" at the bottom of the page, then type in "pilot" for type of job.
I have given up,i have applied every year since they started operations and never even got a phone call.

I'm going to perpetuate the thread creep and ask whether spelling falls under the gamut of grammar.
On a side note, applied there with 5500+ TT and over 2000 PIC on NG. Looks like I don't quite meet their mins.

From what I've heard, WestJet looks for recruits who have recommendations from pilots who are already employed there. The more you can get, the better your chances. They take the time to talk to those pilots who recommend you (to get the real scoop) so be sure whomever you use is someone who actually likes and respects you.

West Jet Pilot hiring process
Hi, with do all respect, do you know what kind of tech questions they may ask? and what resources we should look in to?
I recently applied to west jet and last time I checked the status of my application it says "in progress"
Any thoughts and ideas would be highly appreciated, I've heard that WJA only hires pilots through recommendation from WJA employees, is this true?

WJA Hiring
Hey guys anyone who is interested. Hiring has come to an end for at least the rest of 2013. This is due to reduced blocking hours this winter. However that being said things seem to and can change very fast here.
As far as recommends go, most people seemed to be hired with multiple internal recommends also a visit to the campus with one of your recommends helps. That being said some people (myself included) did not need to do a visit to the campus but we seem to be the minority.
