Light Airplane Rental

Any recommendations out there on renting a light aircraft (C-172 et al)in Eastern Ontario/Western Quebec? I have never rented before so I'm looking for some of the "gotcha's" and a reasonable cost appreciation. Plan is to head east for about ten days in August.
