WestJet or AC...

Hey all,

I am currently working on my PPL. I know this is nothing and this is just the beginning but I would like to know what steps I need to take in order to be able to have the qualifications to be an AC or WestJet pilot.

I was just wondering what steps should be taken after I acquire my CPL? If you are currently a WestJet or AC pilot, would you mind sharing what steps you took in order to be a pilot for one of the companies?

Website for WJ says 1,500 total time at least. I am assuming pilots who would even want to be considered have at least 3,000?

Cheers!

Most canadian pilots don't get their first turboprop job until they have 1500 hrs, and their first jet job until at least 5000 hrs.
what you do to get those hours is search for any job, live in far away places that nobody wants to live in, but you will because you want to fly THAT bad.
