Lapsed PPL
Hi everyone,
I have a Canadian PPL which I last used in the early 90's, then I moved to Europe and now have a JAR PPL and have flown over 100 hours in the last 2 years.
I am thinking about returning to Canada. From what I can see on the TC website, there are currency requirements for 5 and 2 years as well as 6 months. I meet all the requirements on my JAR PPL. Does anyone know if this will be accepted or will I have to have a flight review with an instructor and take the PSTAR exams to re-validate my Canadian PPL. Of course I will have to get a medical in Canada.
Thanks in advance.

That is a pretty good question. I could find nothing in the regulations that would apply to you other than the fact you could be issued a foreign licence validation certificate, or a licence based on your JAR PPL.
So, I suggest you call a regional office and ask a inspector.
