how much does it cost to take a Transport Canada first class medical in Canada or USA?

There is no set fee for the various CAME's (Civil Aviation Medical Examiners); it goes anywhere from $50 to a couple of hundered dollars. Plus the cost of an ECG (EKG in the US) and any other tests. Plus the Transport Canada processing fee...

I paid $160 for a cat 1 medical from Dr. Davison in Ottawa (that includes an audiogram but not EKG).

Dr. Gillmore in the Toronto area charges $150 for the medical with the ECG.
