Where to next...
I'm trying to decide where to head next.
I have 2500 hours, FAA and Canadian ATPL.
I'm currently flying a King Air way up north. The company I'm working for has me left seat qualified, however, all of our new contracts require 500 MPIC. I don't have that. Lots of experience flying around the arctic in icing around mountains etc. but I'm stuck without that MPIC.
I'd like to move on to fly bigger things and am thinking about heading south. It seems the music has started at some of the airlines and the regional outfits again. Does anyone have any suggestions? I could likely go anywhere but would prefer to find a company with a reasonably quick upgrade to Captain. What are the waits like at these companies?
Suggestions?

I'll trade my unemployment for your 'problem'.
They won't allow you to act as PIC under supervision until you get the time? If its a contract requirement you may get more opportunities down south where that is less of an issue.
