research possibility (airlines and university)

Hello,

Could it be possible, could be someone here who likes to contribute a research related to generating fuel consumption models during descent, effects of flight path angle and thereby assessment of emissions production?

We are two in research team, one is a Canadian professor from Ontario, and me from Turkey. I have a plan to make a visiting research in Canada on Feb. 2011 to study about the issues given above and looking for collaborative supports (data, FDR, pilot view) from airlines. if it comes to happen, I believe it could be meaningful because of two countries are involved associated with university and industry partnership.

If it sounds sense I guess we may contact via private message.

p.s. this message is also sent to 'Engineers & Technicians'
