Conquest Vacations Finished
It's a relatively small portion of Skyservice's business, but that doesn't mean it isn't going to hurt. While Skyservice was the only company with the Conquest logo on one of its' aircraft, they were not the only carrier who was flying CQ's passengers. They've been buying capacity from AC, Westjet, Air Transat and Canjet as well. It's going to affect all of us, but given that there has been a significant increase in capacity in the leisure market in Canada this year, it's a correction that is probably needed to make capacity match closer to the demand. Unfortunately it's still not enough, and there may yet be another shoe to drop somewhere.
