FAA to Transport Canada Conversion.

I hold a FAA CPL MEL & IR want to convert it to the TC soon. Will the FAA CFI rating transfer on TC License just as the CPL. Or is it advisable to get a seperate FI rating in Canada.
Training on the FAA License is faster and cost effective this is a incentive to get it on the FAA and then convert it. Please advise what is best before conversion? A CFI on FAA or a FI on TC after conversion

Regards,

Nikhil

I think the easy conversion only applies up to CPL/ATP level. A CFI license would not work under the current agreement. You would have to get a CFI in Canada.

Thx for the reply, so I should convert my FAA CPL to TC and then get my FI ratings on the Canadian!
