Laser Refractive Surgery for pilots in the CF
Just for those who might be thinking of or had thought of joining for pilot/aircrew but couldn't due to eye sight, the CF has approved Laser Refractive Surgery.
Here's the link. Good luck!

Suply and demand....
Wow, that should open up the flood gates of applications.... I remember being in Trenton back in 1988 in March.... I was 1 of 2 guys from 21 total who passed the Air Crew Sellection Center medical because all the others had poor eye sight. I felt sorry for them. The majority of the other applicants all came from the small towns so they got the whole selection process at once. Anyways, I am sure that there will be alot of happy young people when they hear about this! And good luck to them!

My best friend got "CT'D" while on Tutors at the "big 2" in Moosejaw because he developed a rare eye disorder... poor chap!
