Cessna 180 Floatplane (CF-HSG) down at Takakkaw Falls, BC

A friend saw a crashed 180 floatplane (CF-HSG) near Takakkaw Falls in Yoho National Park on August 19th. It looks like the accident was survivable.

Does anyone know what happened?
