Unhappy Air Canada Hiring?

Would appreciate any info regarding the present hiring situation at Air Canada after their recent financial troubles.
Any interviews or courses planned this year, entry level positions, salaries and bases (Winnipeg??), expected time for command as well as the top salaries given to 744 skippers!

Had one of the big cheeses on board the airplane the other day....No hiring until next year at the earliest. There was rumblings of a mini-course due to RJ FO shortage. Nothing substantial though! However, If a LCC (low cost carrier) is approved and accepted...as many as 20 additional aircraft would be required necessitating the hiring of 200 guys instantly....Just have to get the idea through ACPA.....Alot of junior guys are beginning to grow warm to the idea of a LCC.
Some interesting times ahead!
