Post JAR to CDN Licence. How & what credits are given?

I am looking to convert my JAR licence to either a CDN and or FAA licence. I have UK ATPL theory exams with a JAR CPL/IR (or will have very soon) Does anyone know how to convert the licence and what credits you get for the UK/JAR stuff? Any help would be appreciated.

Also, are there any flight schools around the Toronto area which can provide the training? (I have relatives there)

Thanks,

Homer
