Question AC hats

(Just a little curious here this is not a dis at all.) Is it company policy at AC to have your hats surgically attached to your heads whenever in public? It's seems that everytime I see an AC crew even if it's in a hotel lobby or whatever everyone is donning the hats.

yes the 550 manual stipulates that the hat must be worn in public(although lots of guys/girls just carry them under arm)tunics and ocoats to be buttoned up.Not like the majority of US pilots.Cheers

Thanks m&v I thought it was something like that. I think there is a happy medium somewhere between that and trying to destroy your hat as is the culture at my wonderful company. You guys do have the sharpest uniforms though.
