Type Rating in the States !
Hi guys, how are you all doing ? My query is regarding obtaining a Type Rating in the states. I currently hold a Canadian CPL with Multi / IFR on it. Recently i have been selected by an airline , and for my type rating they have chosen a school in the states by the name of SimCenter. My query is whether i am able to conduct my training in the states and get issued the type on my Canadian license or would i need to do something else ? All help is greatly appreciated !

Yo
Keep all your training records and bring them to transport Canada and they will issue you a type rating on the aircraft. Atleast they did with me on the 747.........chances are if a Cnd company sent you there the examiner is able to do canadian rides.......
