Jasper,hoping it's open

Will we be able to land in Jasper this year ?.I couldn't understand why it was closed.the bow valley has two Railways,Four lanes of highway,large hotels ,thousands of campers.What 's a handful of aircraft in there. I would agree if they said nobody was allowed in the valley,but when you see all the cars,trucks ,trains .Closing the one airstrip in such a big valley doesn't make any sense to me.
