Which Canadian Flight Training Organisation???

Hi!. .. .I'm from the UK, I'm looking at Canadian training organisations as a possibility for training to Commercial Pilot standard. However, the thing is that I need somewhere that offers a degree or diploma program as part of the course, in addition to being a high standard of training. Any ideas? Which is the best place and where should I avoid? Which places are overpriced? Which is the best value?. .. .Also, what's the possibility of getting work in Canada after I complete the training?. .. .Any help would be appreciated!. .. .Thanks. .AB

Try Seneca College or George Brown College (among others) for diploma programmes in Toronto. I've heard that the University of Western Ontario offers a degree but I'm not sure. You should be able to get their websites from the <a href="http://www.yellow.ca" target="_blank">Yellow Pages Online</a>.

I would seriously recommend Pro IFR in Boundary Bay Vancouver, Speak to John Montgomery. I am also from the UK, I did my stuff there. Very Professional, Very friendly, good accomodation also.
Tell him Mike Jones recommended them....

Thanks everyone - lots of useful info there. Thanks as well, jetgate, for directing me to that other post... it looks like you remember your time in Canada fondly. Incidentally, I've enjoyed the company of all the many Canadians I've met, and I've always admired the landscape of the west coast area, so those points are definite plusses for training in Canada.

By the way, apologies for the lateness of this reply - MAJOR problems with PCs/ISPs etc etc.
