WestJet stock price

WestJet just hit another 52 week high. Bear in mind it's still down from it's all time high but its great to see this undervalued stock head up to where it belongs. Best profit margin in North America doesn't hurt.
I'd like to see a comparison to other parts of the world but can't seem to find it online. Anyone have suggestions?

Well, it's about time. One suggestion though. Don't count on that stock getting you through retirement. The experts don't see expansion as a good thing for that stock. But alas, WJ must expand and destroy the evil empire. Make your money now and sell quikly. Ten years from now will be too late.

Brucelee,

Seems AC is not doing much better!!

CALGARY, Alberta (Reuters) - Shares in Air Canada (ACa.TO: Quote, Profile, Research) tumbled nearly 7 percent on Friday as the country's dominant airline debuted on the Toronto Stock Exchange after public offerings worth as much as C$605 million ($530 million), a larger deal than expected.

Contrary to the brainless accusations, when ACE stock skyrocketed (I seem to recall we started out at twentysomething not so long ago and now it bounces around the high thirties) nobody whent on a forum and did a hip hip hurahh song and dance. WJetters are very proud of their accomplishments. That's great, I don't have a problem with that. But I think the competitive pill their leader gives them once a week has some unattractive side-effects. Now calm down little ones, no tantrums required.

Grrr Uncle Bruce

I would rather have the competitive pill than the morphine or Prozac they give you and the FA at AC. Just flew back DH from Europe with your company.....Really shocking service ( none to be serious) , not the minimum you could expect from a so called legacy carrier....Anyway,how do you want you pill, club soda or Gin and tonic ?

Dominus,

Hmmm..., interesting. I flew Vancouver to London on AC last month (cargo class) and the service was great - good food and the wine never stopped flowing. You wouldn't happen to be working for a competing airline, would you?

Mr.Auroradude, ex military I presume ? New hired at AC may I guess ? No I am not working for a competing airline. Just for an overseas cie and have a chance to compare between many companies. As for your experience, well I am happy to see that you were satisfied, did the flow of wine had anything to do with it ? I forgot that in Canada the king can do no wrong. Critisism is not always bad for someone who is mature enough to do the self evaluation .

Have to agree with dom....

10 hour flight from LHR to YVR on an old 767 with tragic cabin crew, ONE movie with no other options. Give me a break, it's just plain bad.

Is that the stock that is worth $19.20 as of today?

Dominus,
What does being ex-military have to do with anything?

Having flown on both airlines I have to say that the FA's on WJ can be very hot and on AC a few old bags. However, no real complaints about either airline.

I don't see your point Auroradude...

Whenever crewmembers from other airlines d/head or travel on flights from the company I work for, they're treated as well as I'd be if I were d/heading or travelling myself, and that's very well!!!

Saudipic.
ACE is still in the mid thirties. You are refering to the new AC stock that just came out. Either a simple oversight on your part or more probably the lack-of-knowledge-but-let's-bash-it-anyway, ignorance. We're ok, but nice try.

The dollar $$$ figure of the stock is irrelevant. From an investor stand piont it is how the stock has rose that is most important when you cash out and sell your stock!
