Aircraft Hire in Niagara region

I am a UK PPL, visiting Niagara region in July. Can anyone recommend somewhere to hire an aircraft. I may even fly up to Picton ON to visit some friends

I live in Niagara Falls Ontario. You can try The St. Catharines Flying Club. I know they rent out Cessna's. If you are looking for a helicopter tour over th falls you can check out Niagara Helicopters Ltd. The links are below.

Sounds like a fun trip...

We can rent you a 172 at Niagara Air Tours. You will not have a problem with aircraft availability, and all that is required is a simple checkout. For more info give us a call at (905) 688-9000 or our website: www.niagaraairtours.com

Niagara Air Tours

Thanks, that sounds good,

What would the flying time to Picton be? Difficult to judge distance on Google map!!!

Looks like if I fly direct I would cross he US border for a while, would this make a difference?

Is there a navaid at Picton - not many features on lake Ontario for VFR nav I guess??

Yes! I'm sure NAT will explain why you don't want to do that.
