Arrow Getting on at Air Canada

Hey All. New here, so this maybe an old question, but....

I was wondering if anyone can answer some Air Can questions?

First, I am a dual Can/US citizen with an FAA CPL license. I am working at a regional carrier here in the US, with upgrade to CA in about 6 months. Total time is around 5000 and no 121 PIC. I understand you must have the CAA license to apply, plus the PIC.

Should I wait to upgrade, then convert a FAA ATP to a CAA ATPL, or convert now and apply?

Also, does Air Canada work directly with Air Can Jazz, as far as flow through agreements and actual hire dates. Im a little confused on these companies relationship with eachother.

Hey, I appreciate this answers. I hope they don't sound too dumb, but I would love to be home.

Thanks,
GB
