The Manitoba Aviation Council in cooperation with Harv’s Air: St. Andrews will provide a panel discussion on the topic of new pilots beginning a commercial aviation career. This panel will consist of senior pilots from a cross section of large, middle, and small commercial aircraft operators who have participated in hiring of pilots in their organization.

Participating will be Rob Lawson from Air Canada, Pete Van Wallegham from Calm Air International, and Jeff Schroeder from First Nations Transportation.

The panel presentation will be a chance to learn about the interview process, hiring practices and the inside scoop on what commercial aircraft operators are really looking for in a new pilot. Coffee and refreshments will follow the presentation. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to learn more about the airline business from the “inside”.

Also attending will be the Minister of Human Resources, Belinda Stronach, with a presentation on the Employment Insurance and how to claim benefits for the inevitable within the Canadian Aviation Industry.
