Air Canada Fleet.

Hey Guy's and Gal's.
I am just curious as to the future fleet make-up for Air Canada. Now that the Boeing order has been canceled, are they actively looking at new types, or is it going to be a "run with what we got" scenario?
thanks.

A friend of mine at AC said they would be looking for 767s. However this was a while ago and perhaps someone else can bring us up to date.

Officially they are looking for existing fleet types like 343 and 762/3. Unfortunately for AC these are in short supply. Maybe their new buddies at US/HP will shed something they can have.

The Vegas odds-makers are betting the 777/787 will be on the property by 2007/2009 respectively. It's supposed to be a well kept secret. Something to do with GE Capital. Another vote to happen soon with seniority issue sweetened. Stay tuned.
