Type Rating (helicopter)

Hello,

What are the requirements to obtain a type rating on a medium twin helicopter (S-76, BH-412) in Canada?

I would also appreciate it if anyone could give me some hints and tips on how to get a Canadian ATPL-H on the basis of an FAA CPL/IR-H (I have all the required flight hrs. TT, Night, XC, Instrument etc.)

Is this a relatively easy and pain free task?

Thanks.

I suggest that you put the question on this Canadian forum that seems to have a very high proportion of rotary wing drivers:
