The bid was actually 02/04.
Final bid for 2004 01/05 most likly not until June.
02/04 did include some EMB's but also decrease in CRJ's net result was AC can call back up to 101 of the furloughs...as 172 were layed off and 6 of those have quit that leaves 166-101 or 65 furloughs still on the street. Rumor is the rest will be showing back on the next bid (likely end of June) but how long it takes to train everyone and how many stay out on leaves (LOA's) will adjust the numbers.
My best guess would be new hire interviews end of 05 for hire dates in 06 but all that would be in a perfect world....and look around....so anything can and probably will change.

Registerd letters went out today to the first 14 furloughed pilots that are recalled for a course in January (This comes from ACPA)
Most will be B767 Relief in YYZ and those who will be recalled for the spring will get EMBJ 190 F/O.
The reduction you talk about on the CL65 is compensated completely by the new positions on the EMBJ.
This bid was a disapointment as the word was that we were getting 9 more widebodies......didn't happen due to the conflict beetween the union and the company so it was a punishment bid in a way....
