heli in canada

as a young helicopter pilot in austrlalia i was wondering if someone could help me out in terms of what conversion is needed from aus cpl (h) to canadian and also if there is much hope of gaining work in canada for 1000 hour pilots. I am also unsure of visa requirements so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!!

Try Chinook Helicopters at:

They have been very helpful to me and do a lot of conversions.
