From cabin crew to tech crew

Has anyone female cabin crew achieved this task?

ATechman 30th September 2000 03:32

Some of our girls have gone from cabin crew to tech crew but only for sexual purposes.

I know a couple who've done it succesfully with BA, but they had to take a big pay cut.

ATechman 30th September 2000 19:50

If they were to do it in our airline they would get a big pay rise but I can`t imagine any of them getting covered in oil and crap and having to study for at least three years. The cost in emery board for their finger-nails would be a fortune.

No Surrender !

Heard of a stuŽ who flies her own twin piston to and from work to France.
But works in the cabin. Takes all kinds.

We have an F/O who used to be an F/A with BA, cost her a fortune but she loves it. And I have to say is a v good pilot with it.

late lamented DebonAir had at least two - 'cos I flew with them and jolly good they were too (although I'm told that one subsequently failed the 757 with Monarch - with whom she had once been F/A. The other was ex BA. Yes you need dosh but, as always , what really matters is the Motivation (capital 'M'). Wouldn't be a bad idea to do the aptitiude tests before starting to part with the dosh though! Contact GAPAN for that (they have a web-site www.gapan.org)
