Female only
Hi there, That seems to be strange, because i have an interview with them in Abu Dhabi in March 14 and 15, I'm a male from the Bahamas and i was not told of this when they invited me to the interview. Maybe it is because they have just about enough male cabin crew from Australia. and to say that they discriminate race, remember that it's their country and some of their laws are different from the rest of the world. I was also surprised when i was told that Emirates at that time was not looking for male cabin crew, so i didn't worry about because i'm looking for a job in their country, suck it up and move on to something else, but don't give up. Good Luck.:ok:

Male Cabin crew
Guys,
Etihad employ 15% male cabin crew. It is a ceiling from the president of the airline. Late last year that quota had been forfilled, There are currently a few guys on a wait list for a training date that where interviewed around the time of the hold decision. When EY come to Australia in March they will be interviewing and accepting a limited number of males for future training schools. Many crew are required over the next two years as the airline expands. NB: Gulf air employ Bahraini males as cabin crew And other male nationalities as air chefs. I remember the early 90's well when Emerates did not take guys for many years. Was like bashing your head against a brick wall! |
Hey guys,
they have started contacting candidates in oz both male and female so don't worry. |
