I was 20 when I started flying, now am 23 and plan to be flying for at least another 10 years, and involved in aviation in some form for the rest of my life... I think we can all attest to flying getting into your blood! I could never (voluntarily) go back into the normal world - how boring!
|
Well I am feeling a bit old now, I started flying last year at the ripe old age of 30! But I love it:D
Only question is.... "Why didn't I do it it sooner?" |
around aircraft since i was little
16 restricted licence, 17 private, 18 commercial and IFR 18 started working with Virgin Blue on the ground 19 and 1/4 moved to W.A and worked with tons of other airlines in the same role and graduated from uni with a Bachelor of Aviation 19 and 3/4 moved back to BNE and worked at BNE intl for Freedom Air before getting offered a Flight Attendant job with Alliance on the F100. 20 Cabin Manager The downside is i get people asking if im in my 30s :O ... I very rarely get anyone guess within 5 years of my age. Hey, 30 is only young, but it makes me wonder what people will be thinking when I actually do hit 30... On the other hand, I love every second of my job. I get depressed when Im not rostered on 6 days a week... Its given me heaps of opportunities to meet new people, and go interesting places... I couldnt ask for a better bunch of people to work with/for. Know everyone, and go to work and have an awesome time. |
I was 22 and started with Air Europe Italy on the most beautiful and sexiest aircraft in the world!!! :=
Now I am 24, worked for FCA for 16 months and ready to go to BA in a couple of weeks....3 companies in 3 years but I am not planning to go anywhere else now that I got the job I have always wanted!!! Sinala is right, the "normal" world would be too boring after having done this job for a while!!! Cheers!! FBW:) |
