But are the male crew allowed to wear skirts? Not sure how it would go down with the PAX?

Is Flybe moving its operation to the North Terminal @ LGW ?

Has anyone used the new on-line application system? Seem to be having problems with the Education section...I can't edit/delete the details entered because when I click on my school to view them it just says "Page not found". Tried a number of different browsers/computers but the problem remains! Many Thanks

Hey the online form is a complete nightmare, it deletes everything you put in and flybe will not accept your cv's anymore. My friend has been trying to fill it out for 4 days now and has just about given up, she has also logged tech calls and phoned HR but no one is helping, the answer seems to be 'just keep trying'. That doesnt seem to help when you know the closing date for applications is soon.

Id suggest the more people phone up and complain they may actually get some tech team to look at the site and make sure its working before they rule out all the options of applying.

sorry its not any help to you Joffyh but at least you know there are others out there with the same problem :ugh:

Do Flybe know what they are doing???
I have applyed to them 4 times in the last 12 months and they have never contacted me back! If thats the way they treat people who show an interest in working for them, how do they treat the people who already work for them????

Joffyh 24th Mar 2008 10:31

Well In some ways it's nice to know that other people are having similar problems and it's not just me :}.

I couldn't even get into the dam thing for the first couple of days as it wouldn't accept my answer to the secret question, I called Flybe and spoke to HR several times as well as Bond and they all said everything with my application looks fine and I shouldn't have any problems :hmm:. I've emailed Bond about this Education problem and they're yet to get back to me, I guess it being Easter and all that's to be expected...it's just bloody annoying. What makes it worse is I submitted my CV and covering letter when it still said on their website "send your covering letter and CV to..." but they still wanted me to apply again online.

Av8rboyz what position have you applied for the same position everytime? I don't want to come across as harsh but Flybe say if you don't hear back from them in 6 weeks then it means your application hasn't been successful and normally you can't reapply for the same position for a minimum of 12 months.

weeJK007 25th Mar 2008 11:01

Yeah thats true they dont normally get back to you if you are not sucessfull. Most jobs out there will not contact you if you are not even shortlisted for an interview..but i guess sometimes we just want a reply to say 'sorry not this time'
I suppose if they have hundreds of applicants its hard to go back to everyone.

good luck to both of you anyway if you are still trying to apply.

:ugh:

I just think its strange as bmi, ba, vs, ezy, silverjet, qf and anz all reply if you have not been accepted to interview or if they arn't recruiting. I know that flybe have thousands of applicants, however so do these airlines and if they can reply why not flybe??

weeJK007 26th Mar 2008 16:19

So you have personally had 'your not successful' replies from each one of those airlines..?
Or are you just on a downer with Flybe..

EGHI 31st Mar 2008 09:09

Or are you just on a downer with Flybe..
Or perhaps, like most people, they appreciate good business manners and would like to receive even a brief 'thank you' for their interest in applying.

weeJK007 1st Apr 2008 14:14

Flybe do actually give you a reply to say thanks for applying however they also say 'if you have not heard anything back within 6 weeks of applying consider it that you are not sucessfull this time'
Thats the bit I think most people are really waiting for, they know the company has received their application but now all they want is another reply to say youve been successful for interview or not..

either way its a horrible waiting game :*

Hey there, don'tmiss your chance, call HR and tell them the problem, just make them aware that others are struggling with the app and hat you can easily email your CV over as you would hate to miss the deadline!!
That way you look keen and have made the effort to remind them about the app being a nightmare!!!
Good luck to you!!! :ok:

I applied to flybe in November and within days I recived a letter of comfirmation. This pretty much said that if you hadnt heard anything within 6 weeks of the closing date you hadnt been shortlisted but on the internet it was an ongoing position. To me this meant no closing date.So basicly this was a rejection letter.
You can apply again six months after your first application.
Does anyone get an interview on their second attempt to the same company? I dont want to be too keen incase they remember me.
