BA Citiexpress

Hi...

The number for recruitment is 0161 4368182. They are currently recruiting for MAN...

Went to an interview 3 wks ago and got offered a job out of MAN and awaiting a start date. Have changed my mind about MAN base and have asked to be based out of BHX instead...

Just awaiting a course start date...

Good luck to those who apply

Application Requirements

I'm currently filling out an application form but have realised that the height requirements are between 5ft2 and 5ft 10... I'm 6ft1, does any one know how strict they are with these?

Thanks!

They are strict, due to the small size of a/c that they use.

spav2k they are very strict as sammyhostie3 quite rightly said it is due to the aircraft - the Embraer has a very low ceiling, I'm only 5'4" and I feel the need to duck!

Why don't you apply to BA and work on real aircraft

You sould speak to them reqarding the height restriction. However this would only apply to the EMB145 as you'd be fine on the other aircraft they have in their fleet.

Err Hostie......I've got loads of mates who work on the 145 and love it - it's a matter of choice and what you want. Some like it, some don't, same with all the other a/c for that matter.
Have you heard this! is offline

Thanks!

Hi and thanks for your replies!

I'd apply for BA but I'm in Manchester and don't fancy moving etc, am I right in thinking that it's only CitiExpress from Manchester?

I will send in an application anyway and see where it gets me!

How do I go about applying for BA?

Thank you!

Paul

Paul,

Just go on www.ba.com and then click on company information on the top right corner, then careers.

If you meet their requirements then you just apply online.

Its best to go into BA direct rather than a franchise/subsidary: its not a way to get into BA mainline. If anything it hinders you.

Good luck!
