Good news for shorties applying at Qantas

Some inside info for hieght challenged applicants. The big Q is looking at dropping the height requirement 3 cm. Good news for the tippy toe gang. Good luck in the future.

Cool! I just make it! At QF interviews I'm always worried about that and try to stretch myself as much as possible (which probably looks really weird to the recruiters ).

Now us shorties can just relaaax!

Thanks muchly

yay good news!

Good to hear some good news. So much :-( lately. Freeze in recruitment....restructuring and people with nothing after going through the whole process.

Hey Winglets

Told you I would organise it for you. Sorry it took so long but QF took some skillful negotiating.
Now you dont have to worry any more...lol

Thats great...

Any news on max height (183cm). Other airlines don't have a max at all, even regionals with smaller A/C.

hi guys
Well thanks to LOZZA (ha ha!) shorties like myself can apply to the big QF!cool:

Im like you Vdd -just make it! but hey good things come in small parcels - thats just what QFfail to realise when they exclude shorties like us..they miss out on alot of really great staff (esp ex-regionals who know the meaning of hrad work!)

So when do these height restrictions go back to 160cms?
I sure hope they are right b/c it really makes it possible to be a little more optimistic about applying to QF and their regionals. ::rolleyeshaving said that I know alot of QF f/a's that are BELOW the 163cms mark too, but got i n when things were a little less stringent.

well keep me posted and thanks again to LOZZA for all his powers of perswasal! :
vvd pm if you like so we can share a few more thoughts on this one
