Emirates Fleet Switchover

Noticed several newly produced digital "mock-ups" in the office the other day of Airbus A319's / A320's / A321's and Boeing 737-700s, in Emirates colours.

Could it be that we are slowly getting close to announcing an order for some smaller aircraft for Gulf routes?

Having said that, I was obsv on a 777-300 two days ago from DXB/DOH/DXB followed by DXB/KWI/DXB and 3 out of the 4 sectors were full!!

Who says that no-one is travelling these days?

I don't think that EK have had single aisled aircraft since the days of the 727s mid 80's. Anyone at commercial know what the plans are?
